Pretty in Drink
Think big hair and leg warmers are still sexy? Sheffield's has just the event for you. From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, the popular Lakeview beer bar hosts "I Love '80s" night, which will feature $3 '80s shots (apparently Kamikazes, Buttery Nipples and Sex on the Beach were favorites of Molly Ringwald), screenings of classic movies like "Flashdance" and "Sixteen Candles," costume prizes for the best '80s outfit and, of course, a full selection of '80s music. On cassette, we hope.

Two Wheels, One Hunt
New Belgium Brewing, the company behind Fat Tire and other fine beers, brings its popular Urban Assault Ride to Chicago on September 28. This city-wide (well, the North Side at least) scavenger hunt includes checkpoints rife with obstacles like inflatable slides, bike jousting, big wheels and more. It all ends with a beer-fueled party at Murphy's Bleachers. You can't ask for much more weekend fun than that, and it's only $45/person until September 14 (two-person teams).
